hey everyone, im just wondering, how are there so many google(dot)country websites? for example u have google.nl, google.be, google.com.br etc etc suppose there was a country x with a domain name .xxx and someone in that country wanted to have a own google.xxx website similar to google.nl or google.be. what are the steps that person would have to take to achive his goal.
I would never take a google domain. Google is a super-company, they would sue you to hell and claim your domains.
All those domains are owned by google, if you start your own google.something you will get banned flamed and more... more... more ...
no, u guys dont understand me, how the f********* are there somany google.country websites? like for e.g. u have google.nl, google.be, google.com.br is it google who created so many of them, or is it just someone who emailed google about a thing like this, and then got permission from google to make it?
If you look at the whois information you will see who owns the domain. Most likely it is Google as is the case in your .nl example: http://www.whoiszap.com/google.nl
it is basicly owned by google to localize the search results i think if your country has a google domain, you will see it even when you search in google.com when i search in google.com, it shows the results in google.com.eg ( Egypt)
