    If you used a credit card you have buyers protection and you could have had the charges reversed. I always use my credit card even when using paypal in case someone tries to rip me off I can reverse the charges - Visa will help me fight the charges.

    Thanks for the tip... To bad I can't use it. I will try to remmebr for next time though. I think I am going to the bank tommorow, and I am going to file a claim. He took away my host and domain name yesterday for some reason. He has been threatening me that if I go to the bank he is going to sue me for stealing his property or something like that... but I dont believe a word that comes out of his mouth. He told me his wife is his lawyer, which made me even more skeptical. Hopefully it all works out, and I get back my moeny one way or another.

    Lessons learned:
    1.Dont buy from strangers without using a credit card through paypal
    2.Never cancel a claim on paypal... You cant file a second
    3.Never buy a website without some type of contract stating everything that is included, whether is is a email or hand written... either one works.

    ... Thats not very hard, he owned the host it was on. All he had to do was look at my password in login and change it. Then he changed the email to the account. I can not get in it anymore...
