Hello I have been using Market Leverage for about 1.5 months and have had a reasonable amount of success with them (My best week was $180, but investing only time...no PPC) So here is my questions to those who are more experienced with programs from Market Leverage and similar affiliate programs. How do you take advantage of having an affiliate manager? As a guy coming from Clickbank it seems nice to have someone I can directly correspond with, but I'm not quite sure how to take advantage of the situation. Any tips, tricks, etc etc you use would be great.
ask them to give you a list of their top performing campaigns (conversion rate + epc) ask them what other people are doing and what works ask them what is hot in the market right now if you are doing well on a campaign ask them to give you another campaign that are similar good luck
That's all about right... Also, ask them to assess your website (if using one) to check placement and to see if any other campaigns may work better.
Plus, it helps to have a go to guy if you have any problems. Being an random number on a network makes it harder to get problems fixed. Just like any b2b relationship where you have a contact.
Yep, My MLaffiliate manger Jen always gives me tips on what to promote and when to remove the banners They even call you and do not mind spending quality time over phone sharing what their network is all about. That is what I like about ML. That is the only reason I am promoting them since I am having a great time in terms of money with CJ. Click bank is like a soulless desert when it comes to personnel approach. Do not hesitate to contact your assigned manager at least once a week and get some inputs on best conversions, new products, banners....etc.
Affiliate managers can break you or make you. Always get on their good side and once you preform well ask for rate bumps.
a weekly newsletter from your AM is very helpful..so make sure ask if they can do that for you. My am at viral does each week, and it's super helpful. If you do good $$$ with them, you'll get first dips on new campaign that will come in without anyone else seeing it.
