Making Search Engine....???

Dear alls,

Im gonna make a Search Engine against google, yahoo, msn, alexa, lycos,etc.....seem to be funny.....but i can make it...but wothout your support im not gonna made it...so would you all please help me to make out this...and guide me how to make...give your opinion to PM.

nobody replying this post, because its almost impossible. They spent a lot of money to build that SE to buy some facility and pay the best worker. How you can do that?

Why would you even want to rival Google? Google is wicked and its fairly obvious they could crush you very easily as they are already too well established

 

the question who will use your search engine even if you spend huge time on making it while all people use google or yahoo , even ASK.com the big UK engine failed to compete with google

I don't want to discourage you but to me this is almost impossible

 

I will help! All of you guys com'n he atleast got the courage to create a Search Engine. He wont be good as Google. Yahoo, Alexa and them. But, I will support you. Plus I would like to work for you. Please PM me information and I will Support you and help. Is anyone WITH ME !

 

I just love like you who want to make a Search Engines. Three main things I think most necessary for a Search Engines (a) Crawler or Spider (b) Indexing pages from both Meta and Non Meta page and (c) Own Server.

I am not trying to break you, but going against google will be very hard, seeing that google is already established and well known

 

You have to come up with something unique. For example http://www.searchme.com . I have been using them since someone posted their site and mine on occassions.

Well forget about competing. Just focus on what you want to do.

The best tip is to start reading more about programming.

If you don't know how to make one. I don't think you will be able to make one from tips given by others.

You will need to code out crawlers. Database design to hold that raw data. A nice algo to classify that data. Front end to allow searching and finding of the results. This are basic needs.

 

Your Focus should not be to compete someone, decide your goal first, think what do you want to achieve, have a plan and jump into that. Forget about others, if you can give something very unique and valuable thing, you are automatically in the competition. Think as you are the user of your services and then feel it!
