I have a content site earning me good money now but when I look at the earnings per visitor it is very low. I have a lot of traffic coming in especially from Google but am reaaly focusing on this question: What are the best ways to increase earnings per visitor? What have you tried? What works and what doesn't?
Try improving your site navigation. For instance, at the base of each article, add a link to view another article. Keeps folks on your site longer, gives you more pageviews, and ultimately more money not only from Adsense, but also from CPM ads if you have any.
Good point about the articles and I have tried that. Also thinking about boosting any pages with high bounce rates but need to focus on boosting income. My niche by the way is self help.
Self help.. not sure if that has potential for affiliate ncome. may be amazon affiliate would work. Apart from adsense, you might be able to find a couple of affiliates that converts well.
