Wondering if any users have used Adsense in other ways and therefore made more profit? My thinking is to intergrate Google Adsense into Newsletters, Emails, Comment Boxes in Blogs and other ways...is anyone doing this already and with great success?
This shouldn't work. The Javascript that uses AdSense passes along the page that is calling it. If this page is not an approved AdSense Page then only Public Service Announcements are shown. An email would be a local html file and therefore not show AdSense ads. If you published your emails and newsletters online and then sent an html email containing an inline frame that pointed to the target webpage, THEN your could show AdSense ads for those media.
Is this right? If I created the page on my site (having been approved by Google) then I can surely create an HTML Newsletter which refers to the site coding? I thought Adsense PS Ads can't be controlled as I get them now and again and aren't related to what you mentioned above?
Your Blog idea should work though I think. It could be an easy way to attract more clicks..put it in the line of site...just focusing on more traffic straight up isn't a bad strategy either.
It will be against google policy.Google even says do not publish ad on the pages which changes every day
Like previously mentioned, if the page is in fact online, but you reference that page in your email, could that not be allowed. After all it's still *online* right?
Yes that's what I was trying to explain. If I'm creating an HTML Newsletter, then I'll be linking to files and text from my site (which was approved by Google). So what's the problem?
Hi, what do you think of the following idea: I'm planning to set up so called 'author accounts' on our website, this means, free lance writers and other professionals can write and publish articles and other materials on our site and they can earn Adsense money through this. Each author's account will come with an Adsense channel so that the Adsense revenue can be clearly tracked and shared. Anyone tried something similar?
it's an interesting idea but I don't know how successful it would be unless you could prove that these articles get a ton of views.
If your going to try it make sure that you have withdrawn any money accumulated so far, you dont want to get banned with a substantial amount in your account
they don't pay you the amount after they've banned you? I don't expect to be banned, don't think I'm doing anything illegal...
So many people has been banned by google, i remember reading someone got banned after clicking on there adsense links just once, had over $800 dollars in his account at the time.
only once ? but some people had mistakenly click on their link more than a couple of times but never been banned.
Here is the exact text from Google: Ad Placement Up to three ad units may be displayed on each Web site page, but no ad unit shall contain any advertisement in common with any other ad unit. Serving two or more identical ads on a single page constitutes double-serving, which Google does not support. A maximum of two Google AdSense for search boxes may be placed on a page. No Google ad may be placed on any non-content-based pages. This includes error, login, registration, "thank you" or welcome pages. No Google ad or Google search box may be displayed on any domain parking websites, pop-ups, pop-unders, or in any email. No Google ad may be placed on pages published specifically for the purpose of showing ads, whether or not the page content is relevant. Elements on a page must not obscure any portion of the ads, and the ad colors must be such that any ad elements, including text and URL, are visible. Clicks on Google ads must not result in a new browser window being launched.
Adsense works very well on Blogs - its the basis of my business. The other suggestions made in the original post I'm not so sure on.
They should be banned because of other things. I also clicked several times accidentally, it's almost inevitable if you update the websites everyday, especially when ads are placed in a very visible position. And Google can also detect it easily if you don't cheat, it makes no sense to ban the poor webmasters just because a couple of unintended clicks .
An interesting idea, but I believe you would be limited by the number of channels google allows. I think that number is 60 right now.
