making money with torrent?

    just like with proxies, i think people are running torrent servers or seedboxes to make money. to make a living on it. but i don't understand how to make money of having/running/maintaining seedboxes.

    so what's the economics behind having a seedbox?

    AFAIK
    they sell the seedbox and to the people that want to torrenting
    Basically its like selling webhosting business

    How do people with torrent sites make money? Is that the question?

    If so, the answer is amazingly simple: they run ads alllllll over the place.

    (Somehow I don't think it's the question though)
