Sorry if this is off-topic but do you know how to remove the checkboxes on phproxy? I'm sure it isn't that difficult, i was able to do it on the old script by using a div and giving it nostyle but doesnt seem to work these days...

so that would only count for like 7 links right? Or does google count it each time it indexes it? I get the point, but I don't.

Out of your 30,000 indexed pages how many are links to proxified pages - roughly?

do you allow hotlinks or no for this to work?

1- Well a link to a proxified page means that you are letting google see a page that seems like a page on your site but its not and all urls on that page point to proxified pages from your site, so google indexes it as something YOU host, but its not, thats the beauty of it.

for example; If you link to youtube, google will index the youtube page and all pages ON youtube!!

2- ALL of the indexed pages are proxified pages, all 30k of em

3- Yep hotlinks must be on.

 

I don't think he was talking about editing the pictures. I think he meant how when you click a picture it enlarges itself on the same page and you can close it.

I could be wrong, however.


Nice guide! PHProxy, however, already comes with links to proxified pages on the templates.

I knew it, hotlinking should be on or else google could index nothing other than the homepage of the proxy.

well the information is not clear here


i run surrogafier and phpproxy based proxies

what should i do

just create 4-5 text links to the proxified pages

say one for myspace
one for youtube
one for facebook
one for bebo
one for orkut

etc..

then just sit back and i will have 30000-40000 links??


or is it i should have 30000-40000 links somewhere??


or is it somekind of plugin or site map file thats generating this automatic and allowing google to follow??


please can you explain how many links we need to setup in the main index.php

 

Heres how its done..

1- Type in the url for a big site with alot of pages on your proxy..then copy the proxified url

2- On the homepage put up a link to that site with the proxified links

3- Do alot of link exchanges

4- Google will index the proxified site as a part of your site.
