As you probably know, a lot of people are trying to make money from social sites such as fb or twitter, so I decided to make a tutorial on the subject. To make money from FB, you need to follow these steps: 1. Login to FB, go to account settings/security, click Deactivate my account. 2. Go to work. If you don't have a job, apply as a burger flipper at McDonalds, this will guarantee to make you an average of $5/hour. This was obviously a joke, but on a more serious note, in order to make money from fb, you need to follow this plan: Step 1. Start by building 10-20 fb pages (don't create too many because it will be hard to manage them all in terms of keeping them all updated with fresh content). You don't need to use your real profile to build these pages, fb allows you to create a "page account" that only requires an e-mail address when clicking "create a page". You can have all the pages under one account. Make sure you choose subjects that will interest the kind of people that are lurking on fb, such as: quotations pages, beautiful pictures, cute pictures, funny images and so on (you get the picture). Once the pages are created (this shouldn't take you more than a couple of hours), you need to start adding some content on them, ex: images, quotes etc. With time, users of the page will post their own images, which is actually great as that means they will work for you for free. The goal is to have as many likes/fans as possible, in order to be able to make money off your pages. Don't forget to add a text on each page saying that if a picture is copyrighted, you will remove it right away upon request via e-mail or message on fb. Avoid using watermarked pictures. Remember to update each page everyday, because this is one of the easiest ways to keep building likes/fans. There are ways to automate this which I will describe in a future thread, but for the first couple of weeks all you need to do is add 20-30 pictures/quotations on each page manually. If you have a digital camera, make beautiful nature/dogs/cats etc pictures whenever you get the chance and upload those on your pages also. When choosing the name for your pages, I would advice picking a short title for each page, such as "Awesome quotes" , "Incredible images" , "Paradise pictures" , "Very Cute dogs" and so on, be as creative as you can be. If you pick a good name, your page will appear in the search feature of fb, and will bring you a lot of good quality likes/fans on a daily basis. So the idea is to have interesting pages updated daily, to grow a steady flow of fans/likes (this will be your audience). Step 2. - Growing your pages/ jump-starting. You can use your page account to make yourself (your real fb account) an "admin" of the page. This will allow you to invite your friends to like your page . You can also make any of your friends admins, so that they can invite their friends to the page. There are also a lot of sites that work like a traffic exchange system, but for likes/fans. The biggest one is youlikehits, google it and see how it works. Basically you like other people pages, and they like yours in exchange. You can make a search for "free fb likes" to find more of these sites but I only recommend the biggest ones. Using your real fb profile for this task will kind of ruing it (as you will like tons of pages from it, which is ugly and I don't recommend it.) Just make a new account specially for this.Doing this for a week or two (there are ways to automate this also if needed), will guarantee to jump start your pages to a few thousand fans each, which is enough for now. From this point on, you will have to focus on constantly posting new content on all pages, because friends of those fans you have will see your posts on your fans walls, and will share/like them, making them viral. As I said earlier, using quotes on images, inspirational quotes, cool images, funny/fail images, cute images usually does the job. They go viral like crazy. This will ensure a permanent growth of all your pages which will allow you to monetize them as described in step 3. Step 3. Monetization . Now that you have followed step 2 for a while, you should have a few tens of thousands fans/likes by now, so you are ready to make some money with your pages. For doing this, I recommend 2 sites: MyLikes.com and ChaCha. Basically these sites give you interesting, eye-catching "news" to post on your pages, and they will pay you for each click you send them (2c/click on an average). These links have titles that act like click magnets for your fans/audience. Don't post more than 10-20 links per day to make sure you are not seen as a spammer by fb. Usually these links that you post act like great content for your pages , and you are being paid for it which is great. I know that most of you know what I am talking about, but this tutorial is for noobs mostly, that is why I am trying to be as explicit as possible. Mylikes pays every friday which is great as you don't have to wait for too long. A lot of people are making $1k/day as you can see on their public top webmasters section located here. (you probably need to be logged in to see it). To crunch some numbers, an average page with 10k fans will bring you from $1-3/day on this site only, so if you have 10 or 20 pages you can make a decent amount of money. It takes some work, but on my experience if you are serious and keep updating your pages with good quality content, at some point it will take off to xx,xxx or even xxx,xxx (1 million) fans/likes after 4-5 months. At that point you will be able to earn a lot of cash by doing something fun . This is my tutorial, I hope you enjoy it and try it out. I am here if you have any questions. Good Luck! My next thread will be on how to use this method with Twitter.
