That's what I figured - I'm new to Azoogle (and affiliate marketing) as well and I'm trying my hardest to stay away from those offers as tempting as they look. Did you make a landing page for your campaign or sent right to merchant?
Depends on keywords used in those niches also. People are still making very good money in ringtones, dating, etc. Education is a good market also if your into that niche. As far as landing pages goes I do mostly use landing pages for various reasons from google's quality score system to tracking.
Even though I'm on the content network, I made my own landing page for 2 very important reasons. 1. I want to sell them the offer my way, the merchants just there for the conversion, it's my job to sell them. 2. I don't have to worry about other affiliates who are going strait to the merchant out bidding me and making so my ad doesn't show at all. There are a few more reasons, but with very few exceptions I don't direct link, I like to presell. It becomes even more important if you're promoting via search because QS becomes a big issue.
Nice story Scottspfd82. I have a had on and off months with azoogle but it was the same for me. I started with many keywords and ended up finding that one "golden nugget" keyword. It produced something like 1200 in rev one month with .20 clicks and converted at 5%-10% Keep searching and you will find your own golden nugget!
