I have started a new gaming social networking site (check my signature for link) and I am currently running MS ads on there. I may be switching over to Google ads, but I am just curious what type of payouts to expect from running a gaming niche, especially one focused tightly on one particular game.
Don't want to push my luck but could you give me a general idea of what type of niche you're running AdSense with?
Just curious as to why do you say that? I've never done anything in the games niche (and probably won't in the future either), but based on common sense I would imagine that the niche attracts a lot of kids and it's well-known that kids are among the click-happiest people = a very decent CTR. Of course the niche in general is competitive (which common niche isn't?) but it's still very possible to get nice amount of traffic targeting several sub-niches.
game is not the very good niche when it comes to google adsense, but anyway, if you can generate enough traffic, you can definitely earn money.
