Making money "posting links on google"?

    Hi,

Saw this, was tempted, but then thought I'd ask here. It's not really clear what the "scheme" really is, and I even suspect that the comments at the bottom of his blog were created by himself, haha.

    What do you think?

Rule of thumb: If you have to ask, it's probably bogus

Those comments are definitely fake. You can tell they are all written by the same person :)

Just my opinion, of course, so take it for what it's worth.

Seemed complete nonsense from the very beginning, for that matter.

Just saw the google results for comments... Googling may be a genuinely eye-opening experience...

Haha, I'm glad I posted it here.

I thought it was rather strange that one can make money posting links "on google" :p

I'm surprised google hasn't had these scammers prosecuted or at least their website content removed.

Actually, reading around on various websites, I came across a comment from someone whom apparently signed up to this and he states that people are all too quick to "scream scam", and that in fact he is earning satisfactorily.

He claimed that if you put work into it and don't just expect to earn from being lazy, it can be beneficial.

Most of the people who claimed they'd been suckered didn't actually look into the scheme; just signed up, heard/read the seller hadn't been wholly truthful in payment and wanted refunds.

Its bogus mate. if you go to http://www.google.com/support/forum/p/AdSense/thread?tid=310b60ceedc1cd07&hl=en you will see what I mean, the only person that says any thing decent about the scam in that thread is the guy that owns the scam site.
The reason he found the site was either he noticed all the referrals and/or because the thread started to outrank the scammers site for his keywords. (W.styles..ws.. same guy?)
There are tons of these websites out there, all are bogus. one way to tell for sure.. ring the phone number they provide. see if anyone answers, or if its even real.

    Cheers
    James

I know there are a lot, and a helluva lot at that, of scam sites and pyramid schemes, but there are also some legit ones; has anyone here been successful with any? I've always wondered how they work.
