Johnny Carson once said that one of the reasons he was successful was because he was aware of what he his job was . . . . Selling toothpaste. My point is that you just have to keep in mind that, as a publisher, you're delivering eyeballs to people who sell crap. The more eyeballs you can get regularly the better.
You can definately earn £100 plus a week. I am doing that now. I had quit my full time job about 3 years ago and have been working about 4 years online.
I have told my friends about adsense and making money online. They all think its bullshit and say ''If money was that easy to make, everyone would be doing it'' They also think that the people that reveal their earnings on forums like this are making up figures. ...It really pisses me off when people doubt. I think they do it because inside they are jealous, because they know they arnt capable of doing it themselves.
I wouldn't say it's easy, but it's not all that hard to make 180 a week or wahtever the currency conversion would be. If I were you I would make an Ebay content site as well and monetize it with adsense or affiliate ads. That is, if you want to tell people how you made money with Ebay.
Can everybody do it? yes. But it takes a lot of hard work to get started, once you have some websites established websites you can just cruise along, and maybe someday get that check in UPS enevlope
Hi Zach, I wouldn't recommend selling ebooks on ebay as you'll either be selling what everyone else sells for 99p, or you'll sell something for a decent amount, then someone will buy it and sell it themselves for less money, undercutting you. I don't know too much about making alot of money with Adsense as it never made me too much money so I wasn't interested in it. There's loads of ways to make money on the internet though, for me, the best ones don't require much hard work too. Also, don't care what other people do or think. I had mates in school (I'm 17 now) who used to take the piss when my website hustle only made $5/day, now when it makes 100x-150x that, and I don't tell them anyway because they treat you different, so you'll never please anyone, so don't bother Goodluck though, and nice vibefm website, I'm quite into the garage scene myself. PS. http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=54508 might be an interesting thread for you to check out.
thing is, it's not easy. it LOOKS easy, but there's alot of hard work involved before you can actually say you've made alot from adsense. i haven't reached that level yet, and i'm only 2 months into the program. why should you? in the end you will be the one holding fat juicy checks.
I am a student from India. Getting a Job is really very hard here and I am lookiing for some online earnings oppertunity. I am new in the world of internet (Six Months +) and adsense . (2 months+). I have created some blogs. Please give me some suggestion.
Want to add few words: Just Stick to the thing you want to do because in the world of internet the results comes slow but once the results start comming it wont take much time to reach few steps above. Keep your focus on one website first grow it with usefull content do both onpage and off page optimization as search engines give you the best targeted audience. Once a website is established than branch out. Patience all it matters. Regards.
blogs are not necesserily the best source of income, consider also creating a site about something you are interested cars, sports, games etc.
Ive got my first website up and running, no content as of yet, but im working on it. http: //www.celtic-crazy.com/ used host gator, can I host multiple sites on my host gator account? Shall I apply for adsense now? even if theres no content yet?
I would not bother applying for Adsense as you will not get accept with your site. You need content first. By the look of your site there is not information what so every which will mean that they will think it is still under construction and will not accept your application.
if hostgator supports something called "add-on domains", yes you can. this means you can host different domains (and thus, sites) under one account. nope you can't. Google TOS says that adsense must not be placed on sites that are "under construction". wait till your site is up before applying. don't worry, adsense will still be around.
Hi all, This is my first visit to this site, and definitely NOT the last. How refreshing to read about mighty young titans on these forums focusing their energise on making some money, if not for college, then perhaps to stop going to college. After all, if you have the money, it makes little sense to go to college right? I digress. It is such a blessing to be reading about the motivation, for a 16 year old, to be making a living, and online for that matter. So many people have dreams lost and integrities in tatters, all because they're in their golden years, have nothing to show for it, and have nowhere to turn, save to Uncle Sam and Social security. In not so many words, I guess one needs to be thankful for little mercies, for the blessings and "coincidences" that come ones way. In life there are no real coincidences, just opportunities and events based on our daily thinking (which some may refer to as prayer). Affiliate marketing has made many Internet millionairs, but the opposit is also true. It is said about 1 percent of affiliates make the money.. the odds, though not encouraging, should sure spur one into action, after all, at 16, the whole World is there for the taking. I would like to say take heart to those that are 16 or so (especially those that do not know that Michael Jackson was once black), the World is such a wonderful place and time to be in right now. We are more richer (materially and in health) than nobility of England back in the Victorian era. Back then, the life expectancy was well into the forties, not to mention that health, central heating, diet and transportation were something that could never equal that of the poorest of any african country right now. I am in awe of young minds, you just never know what they might turn out to be, Presidents, the Next George Soros, Sol Kerzner et al. Take time to thank the Universe for all the blessings you have today, that's why it's refered to as the present. It is so good to be here. Now, let's make money. Rainmaker
my advice is to properly plan out your actions I have had a lot of experience with this and I am currently a business student. This means a business plan before hand is the best start. For example in my experience.. I have open up niche sites for specifac users and after a certain period was running out of content ideas. So you have to make sure you can generate alot of content from your idea. really look into the programs your going to use to earn revenue for example when using adsense people get discouraged when they are getting keyword hits that generate them hardly any income.
You can look into programs all you want, but if you have a niche with low paying ads that will probably be the case all across the baord with different ad publishing companies. You just might have to work hard to create hefty traffic to cash in the ad clicks. Regards
