Hello DP MEMBERS, What about the idea of making money online from absolute scratch ??? I mean from nothing .... From zero dollar !! What is the extent or the possibility of this happening ???
depends on how much money you are looking to make. as they say you gotta spend money to make money ..
Well if you want to start making money from nothing, why don't you start a free blog at blogger.com and start an adsense account, join some more affiliate programs and write some content into your blog, and voila, you are starting to make money from 0 investment. Then you can use your ad/ affiliate income to buy a hosting and a domain and you are in! That's how I started.
noone can earn 100 on the first day of his online business.. trust me ! I started as a paid poster here in dp content creation section. You will see lots n lots of posting jobs out there. keep getting posting while getting paid in this way you will learn new ways of earning online and investing already earned money
I could give you a job if you want money from nothing. If you say you have money to spend, why not buy an established website of the buy section. If you have 500 plus you would easily be able to buy a website making money with adsense.
Everyone needs to start small. No one reaches his full earning potential in his first days. I think that's starting from scratch. --Joe
If you really wanna start from zero without spending a dime, i would suggest you start accepting some freelance jobs (GAF, RAC or even here at DP) first. Then with your first money, build your first site, buy your first hosting account, etc. And you're off to success
I would start building up ideas, and then put those ideas to the test. Find a specific niche to target and build up a great content rich website. Find something that most people are interested in, some features of successful websites that you could possibly incorporate into your own. Now a days the internet is a variety of tons of things to choose from. Theres basically money to be made all over the place. Good luck!
I attacked Cypherus on another thread (cant be bothered looking up which one....have a go yourself)....DOES THIS GUY HAVE SOME VERY STRANGE IDEAS OR WHAT? I started by doing projects on scriptlance and other freelance sites. Then I opened up my own site, which I took down because there were no visitors and now I have gone back to freelancing, and logo designing in my spare time, as well as planning to open up an ebook store some time in May....more details to come in another thread nearer the time. Id stick to freelance sites, personally. Hoep that helps (plus a little bit of self promotion for me!)
I am a firm believer that it takes money to make money. Although you don't have to put thousands in something to get something out of it. Start small... but realize that your return will also be small as well starting out.
Do you count your own time as being worth nothing? Because if you do, just maybe you can make money from scratch. Spend time writing content, spend time popping content into a template, spend time finding good sites to link to you. All scratch, right? My first site was scratch. Like that. It still makes peanuts compared to a lot of guys here, but it was a hobby to start with, never meant to be a money earner. It was started before G Ads. It had local advertising before G ads existed but ... hey, you know what... My scratch site, crappy design, poor old workhorse of a site pays for my rent and keeps my kids in shoes. Nobody is ever going to offer me 3 mil for it, but it was a hobby. It was built from scratch. It costed me scratch. Yes, you can make money from scratch ... if you don't count your own time.
I would definitely begin by using the suggestions you got above. I disagree, however, that it always takes money to make money. What do you do that's valuable? What do you know? Who could benefit from it? Perhaps you could set up a teleseminar series for members of a forum on a topic they want to know more about. That won't take any money. Set up the free blog as instructed above on any topic you wish. Find two synergistic, and differently prriced affiliate programs (one low priced and one high priced) and sell the low priced product and upsell the higher priced one in a one time offer. This way, you monetize with less traffic. Just ideas off the top of my head. Hope this helps.
I'd suggest looking around the content creation section to find some work tat you can do, then invest in a domain, and either buy some hosting or take up one of the offers that often crops up in the freebies section, and develop an affiliate or adsense site. It's up to you which you do, but if you can find an affiliate niche that interests you and that converts well you have the potential to make decent money.
As people said you can try freelancing. If you are talking about affiliate marketing then Bum Marketing would be a good way to go. Stavra
