Prompted by the 'Are people lazy' thread thought I would post up. I am wanting some pointers and want to see if I am going wrong anywhere. OK,what I have learned from DP, to make money from adwords:- 1- Find a topic that has a good search volume every month + competitive adwords 2- Research a list of long tail search terms to market for 3- Create a blog/site which targets those keywords in the serps. 4 - Place adwords on site, in prominent position 5- Use SEO to get the site ranking well for the the highest paying terms 6- Keep adding fresh content aimed at the most profitable keywords Am I getting the basics right? Any tips or helpful hints?
You're talking about adsense not adwords. To clarify, when you talk about adwords you're talking from an advertisers perspective, when you talk about adsense you're talking from a publishers perspective. And in regards to will your plan work or not, the only way to know is by doing it!
Yeah, I meant adsense, it was late. I use adwords a lot for my ecommerce site so am more used to talking about that.
