Making money from Adsense using Blogspot

I'm just wondering if this method still relevent or not? Many people prefers using this method because it's free but I heard it's hard to get rank well on the search engines especially Google. Can anyone verify this?

 

I have a few sites that appear on googles first page in searches. I use free blogspot for all of them.

 

No problem using blogspot. But you should get a domain to brand yourself. Domain is a must for branding purposes. Also, in future if you want to move your site to your own server, a domain will immensely help you because then you need to only move the contents. Domain costs you $10/year. That is a good value unless you are absolutely cannot afford it.

Of course if you cannot afford it then don't get the domain. You will have a great story when you will write your sales copy for some Internet Make Money product in the future. You can say how you could not even get a doamin and started your online make money using free BlogSpot and made millions.

 

yeah i agree with onera.. i use a domain for branding purposes once i think one of my blogs has given me more income opportunities ie. adsense or affiliates, etc.
u can get your blogspot ranked on google first page if u have good quality contents and niche etc. this is the most difficult part because we need to maintain our blogs and contents regularly in order to get ranked fast on search engines.

I have noticed that sometimes blogspot sites are ranking higher compared to others. So its actually good thing to have a site at blogspot. You save hosting expenses too

 

dude blogspot is working AMAZING for me. i'm ranked in the first page of many searches on Google.

Domains cost even less than $10 a year. I've seen .info specials for a few bucks. You can get free hosting and you have more control over your content and design.

 

Blogspot is owned by google dude, an the domain already has authority so it is easier to rank in the SERPS. Sure you have less control but it will rank easier.

 

that is true but you still have to work a lot on your traffic....

 

You will have to work a lot on your traffic for any site. But the point is you will probably need fewer backlinks on a blogspot blog to rank it.

 

blogger is great invention by Google.
so yes, i think in some cases Google plays favorites and
will rank a blogspot blog higher than any other type of blog

i might be wrong, but...
just check my sig. it is a blogspot blog that has not been hard to create,
yet i get indexed by Google easily.

This is a known fact google does play favourites and blogger is very easy to rank for harder terms.
