making money from a site hosted freely?

    My suggestion is to buy a new domain, get some host 4-6$ per month and start your own business. You can set there Google Ads and a lot of other banners from other companys if you haev a lot visits and members on site. I have free directory www.visitsfast.com and I think to work on that way after I get a lot visits per day and users ;)

    Let me just be honest, if you can't afford the $4-5 per month fees then you will have a hard time making money. I think almost every website needs some type of marketing budget, even if it isn't much. It almost always takes money to make money.

    My recommendation is to write articles to get some money and build on that.

    When i ran a proxy through my2gig free hosting I earnt a few cents but then they shut me off after about 500megs of bandwith when the listed limit is 10gb's

    So free hosters are pretty unreliable.
