Making Link Alt "XXX Keyword" rather then "Keyword" During Directory Submission

I have a domain that is, let's say for instance bestkeywords.com and I want to do directory submissions and as you all know you need to make the title the name of the site and not the keywords your aiming for or most directories will deny you for keyword stuffing.

My question is, would I be wasting time building links with the link title (alt text) being "Best Keywords" rather then just "Keywords." I guess I just want to know how negatively this will impact me, if at all. I want to rank #1 for "Keywords", if building links with "Best Keywords" will reap no boosting for "Keywords" then I do not want to proceed because very few searches are made for "Best Keywords", rather, they are made for "Keywords."

    Thanks in advance,
    John

i believe using the kw "Best Keywords" is not a bad idea since the word keywords is still there and crawlable..
beside you have a tons of competitor on the word "keywords"..

Awesome, thanks! Yah, I wasn't sure if it would just boost you in the SERPs for the exact keyword or for related/contained keywords as well, though I was leaning towards your theory. Any other theories are welcome!
