Well, I'm not sure how many of you have been using facebook ads, but if you're into PPC you really should be. I wrote a step by step article on how to do it,

Facebook came onto the place where this technique was pioneered, and THREATENED LEGAL ACTION AGAINST THOSE WHO DO IT. This is a no-go.

Nothing I've posted about violates facebook terms. Sorry that there's a thread about something you're using to make money. Your market is going to get more saturated. Get over it.

I'm not in it anymore. I made my bank early on, pre legal threats, and before it got totally saturated, and moved on to other things.
If yall are going to do this, just make sure to NOT re-post banned ads. And CPA offers get nailed really fast.

Yeah, I do agree, don't try to macro facebook ads anymore. But if you use the system legit you stand to make a lot of money if you're smart.

There we go NickyCakes. There's no reason for anger haha.
The trick is finding an offer that is
    1)Not a CPA/E-Mail Gathering Scheme
2)Has nothing to do with scholarships
3)Is not a get rich quick thing
4)Has nothing to do with substance abuse
and 5)Does not require them to part with money. Facebookers are largely broke arse college students, or high schoolers with no credit card.

Chances are that if facebook doesn't want them linked directly, why would they allow you to do the same thing but with one step in the middle? All you're doing is tricking them and I doubt that, if something came under review, they would look favorably at the advert.

I decided to give this a try though. What were your caps/pay levels? I went with the $5 max and .18 per click option, am I going to get nothing?

It all depends on the CTR of your ad. Like I explained in my article, the higher your CTR, the lower you can bid and still get your ad shown.

Really cool stuff there Cakes, looks like you got the entire process down.

I too tried Flyers when it came out, but got slapped faster than I could churn out campaigns. It was like there were banning every thing I did. Even for offers that were not remotely related to scholarship, zip, e-mail submits, ringtones etc.

I guess I might give Facebook another go... :D

(p.s. Love your blackhat technique. Warn us once you get caught!)

heh the technique cakes worked has been working for awhile. I doubt it will get popped soon.
Second thing, if you want to read about banning, I pumped out an experiment a few days ago you guys might enjoy. It's about a renewed effort on facebook.

    Conclusion: I hate facebook.
Nicky's got some good shit for going as legit as possible though.
