Making backlink for domain without publishing any content

    I notice about some peoples making backlinks for domains without publishing any content for one or 1.5 years. And they start publishing contents after one or 1.5 years.

    Is it really useful technique?
    What is this technique called?
    By which keyword I can search some guides from web about this technique?

    The strategy you use depends on you and you alone. There are so many ways to build back links. These guys not publishing content might probably dislike writing and do not engage in article marketing, press release, blogging and so on.

    Some of the form of link building that does not require content publishing are:

    Forums
    Blog commenting
    Profile linking
    and many others.
