hello , If this is in the wrong place please move it. I have 1000's (20k accross all sites) of newsletter subscribers but have never sent out a newsletter. I think its time now to look at them, i have MICROSOFT PUBLISHER 2002 AND photoshop 7. I can use them both ok and make things look nice but not a clue how to use them to send out and create a newsletter. What software do you guys use and can you make publisher / photoshop show links to websites etc. I use gmail for all my emails, have everything re directed to gmail for ease of use and how do i send the newsletters out via gmail / email client? thanks in advance for any help as i think i have an avenue here that could be good but never really explored it.
I don't recommend sending stuff from your own computer. You should consider using something like www.Aweber.com or www.Ymlp.com to mail those guys. (and of course you must have their permission...)
thanks, i do have all their permissions as its on my newsletter list.... I can send newsletters out from my sofatware (oscommerze, zencart and othe rphp based scripts.) Any more ideas guys? Il look into aweber etc thanks.
phplist is a free option and there is getresponse... you can also use crm software such as Goldmine or Salesforce
cool thats great il have a look. is their a way to create the newlseteers with photoshop / publisher and send them via normal mail? I collect the newsletter subscribers onto mysql database, i can send out the newsletters from my shops also and this works and i have been sending on another site i have but seems to send just text only but would like it to show a proper newsletter with the links etc.
