I was wondering what I can use to accomplish this... I want to record my actions on my computer screen, like those online photoshop tutorials. What do I need to do this? Thanks
You'll need screen casting softwares. I recommend Camtasia Studio from TechSmith.com. With the smartest screen recording tools on the planet, Camtasia Studio makes everything from training videos to PowerPoint presentations to lectures look better, reach more people, and pack more punch. Which makes you look even smarter, too. http://www.techsmith.com/camtasia.asp
I use either Snagit or Myscreenrecorder for tutorials, sometimes the sound doesn't work but i find it easier to use Start>Run>sndrec32 (Enter) and then record the audio seperately with my headset, I just find it easier to get it right, coz it's easy to make mistakes, when recording live with video. hope helps!
I am a Tutorials writer and I would recommend to make the tutorials as text and images. Videos has many bad parts: Bandwidth / Filesize You can`t print it. Search Engine Optimization is harder.
Cool. Well sndrec32 is obviously free lol! and you've always got cough! piratebay cough! for anything else... You can get free trails with most software anyway, but you obviously don't want the 'THIS IS A DEMO' printed across your video, so look for one with a 15 day trial or something...
