How can I trigger a picture to start animating just after the user scrolls it into the viewable area on their screen?

Unless the user hovers the mouse onto the image / flash area, then i don't think you can. What kind of animation are your talking about?

Whatever the solution, Flash msy be the best bet.

OK so I could have a hidden div tag that spans the screen and when their mouse goes over that it triggers an event?
