Making a windows Cd from my Hardrive files?

I installed windows media edition (from 2 cds) last week. it installed fine and is running fine.

Now one of the Cds has a massive scratch on it, and some of the files are corrupt.

I tried to burn a copy of this cd (with the scratch on) but it says 'corrupt files'

Can i make a new set of CDs from the windows folder on my hardrive?

In other words- can i make 2 new windows media installation cds (not recovery) but 2 identical windows installation cds, by copying files from my hardrive windows folder?

    If so,
    a) Can this be done to make 2 identicle cds as i used to install it ? yes/no?

    b) How do i do it? - anybody got the steps?

    Thanks

You can only make an image of the installation, but it is not the same as a native setup CD's. Search Google for "how to make a windows image". There are plenty of tools to do this. Otherwise call microsoft or your computerreseller. It should be possible to get a new set of CD's if you own a regular version.
