    Hi All,
I've decided to start a campaign now ! I'm thinking of starting a large website which will at the end have adsense on it.

I was thinking of a free online games site like _www.onlinefreegaming.com
etc. Any ideas on that ? I have the script and games but i don't know whether it will work.

Since i can not do any market research, will somebody guide me as to what kind of a website i shall build that will attract traffic and at the end of the day give me a little bit of profit, from adsense or any other way.

    Regards,
    Bary

Anything that people need will work. An arcade website can work, but it needs to have some sort of twist. I have been successful in some Arcade building, but it took me a while to get a hang of the ropes. Context sites, etc. also require experience. Just find out what you like to do (biking, tennis, stocks) and write about it. Other than that, creating a site you are not interested in for the purpose of Adsense is just almost always a waste of time. Give your visitors what they want. Choose a niche and focus on doing something unique.

Sorry about the post, my keyboard is acting funny and it's pissing me off. Will try to edit the post later if I find some new batteries.

Arcade sites are notoriously difficult to monetise. But if that area is your speciality then you should go for it.

I agree, don't go into arcade market.

Go to adwords keyword tool (you need to sign up to adwords to use it), from Choose data to display select cost and ad position estimates, enter for example €1 in the field below, enter some random keyword and see where your ad would appear if you bid €1, look for keywords which will put you as low as possible (watch Estimated Ad Position field) because it means there are high bids on that keyword therefore it means you could get some high value ads if you had a site on that keyword.

For example enter keyword books and you will see for €1 keyword publish books will put you on position 4-6, all other keywords will put you to positions 1-3. Publish books is the winner.
