Making a web 2.0 site out of Wordpress?

I'm trying to convert Wordpress into a web 2.0 thingy where users will create the content with their comments.

It will be something like urbandictionary and users will enter unofficial definitions for anything.

The question is whether it will convert good in terms of ads revenue.

If you are tired of blogging let's brainstorm here. We have a good software here, how can we use it for Web 2.0 purposes?

    Ideas?

I've finished the basic layout of the site and started testing it.

Please take a look at it and tell me what you think.

I think it is important to explain on the home page what the site is about and how the user can benefit from using it. My first impression was "What do I do once I get to this site"

I was working on a kind of splash page with basic description of the site and a registration form. Thanks for the input.

Well, you don't get anything, it's for fun and perhaps for reference. What do you get when you write something on twitter?

Writers get nothing but they feed your site and you make money

How can you compare your site to Twitter?

I'm not comparing it to twitter just saying that some people do it for fun and I'm targeting them, not webmasters or writers.

It's just one sentence for fun, not an article.

Look at urban dictionary. What do people get writing there?

It seems like a great concept but I don't know what your site is all about exactly. I bet when the site like Digg launched in the first time they might have had this similar problem, but they have helpful document which explain how to use them or how it's work.

MaxLoaded doesn't flow correctly with your tagline. Also, the layout looks messed up in FireFox 3.

IMO I would improve upon the layout of the site. It really doesn't look web 2.0. Try gradients, shadows, etc to give it a better look and feel.
