making a very simple logo

when I make a logo, I capture a screenshot, say from Word, paste it in paint, then save it as jpg

but it always looks smudgy

how can I stop that?

or are there other simple ways of making a logo [and my logos are just words!]

Download any free drawing program and make your "logo" in it, saving (if it's just a wordmark) as GIF or PNG to avoid JPG's compression artifacts.

I wonder, how you make it with word. Since it's more simple if you do it with paint, photoshop and other similar program.

 

take a look on google for "free logo creation". There are quite a few generators online that will happily create logo's for you. If you want something not so simple, then you'll have to become acquanted with photoshop or a similar program.

 

you're probably saving it in GIF format (or PNG too, I think).

 

type in free icons in google and if they are released for anyone to use/edit then you have your logo.

 

free image creator tools are available in google you can use them for easy work
