It all depends on what arrangement you have with your employees, ie if you pay them a regular salary then they just need to file their salary as income tax. However if they get a commission or share of profits then they file for the money they receive from the work.

No matter what as long as there is an income earned, the one who earn the income would need to file for taxes. As to whether they need to eventually need to pay taxes would depends on the tax laws of your country.

NyNe, no, it isn't your fault, however, you need to have proper records in case of an audit.

If they are contractors and paid that way, the responsibility to file/claim their income is on them. On your taxes, you will show the contractor payments so they can be caught if they don't file.

If they are not contractors, you must file.

    Seek a CPA.

I also believe that you have to file/report/give them the form for independent contracting profit if the amount that they make is over $600. But, it is mainly their responsibility to take care of the taxes if they were not hired as employees.

Well, I think the main question is which country are you from ? Different countries have different tax rules.
