making a site into a script?

hello, i have a custom coded site that i would like to make into a script and sell. how do i go about doing this? do i have to make an install file? how do i do this? how do you make a demo of the admin panel etc...? please help thanks

 

If any special sort of installation is necessary, you should probably create an install file. I don't know about the admin panel, though.

 

It entirely depends on the content, can we get a link to the site in question ?

 

http://www.tunerplaza.com is the site. I guess users could just install the files. would that work?

 

Yeah sort of, I'd make a backup of the database to create an installer and setup some functions to set admin usernames on install, aswell as check permissions where needed...then you could package the files as they are, probably....

 

could someone program me an installer? could i do this myself? what do i need to do? hard? easy?

 

you might be able to do it your self, I can do them if you need a programmer to do it, it's just a case of splitting a backup into usable mysql command, and keeping the user updated on what's going on or not...
