hi guys, im curently working on a site and the site will have all rap songs on it, is it legal to do that?? people will only be able to listen to music not download or anything.
It would be legal if you have a license to play the music from the copyright holders. You can license music played over the internet (but not downloaded) from ASCAP: https://www.ascap.com/weblicense/ Calculate the fee: https://www.ascap.com/weblicense/feecalculation.html This license would cover music in the "ASCAP Repertory" see here to search for artists and songs (the do cover rap artists): https://www.ascap.com/licensing/ascaprepertory.html
I'm not that familiar with how imeem works, so I can't really say (and IANAL). If that is within imeem's terms of service it would probably be OK.
