Have you wondered if it is possible to make a living with Google Adsense? Some don't believe it is possible, but I can tell you from personal experience that it is very much a reality. Now here is the important stuff: You can approach Adsense two ways. As a 'sideline' - an extra little revenue stream - or as a business. The whole focus of A100k is to build a serious, profitable, and stable business. My personal feeling is that the first - a sideline - is not something anyone should be doing. Having Adsense on a site that also promotes affiliate products and list-building, dilutes all of them. That's not to say some don't earn some money that way. But if you're focus is on pitching a product or developing a list, why would you want to remove any of that focus? On the other hand, if you want to succeed at Adsense as a business, you need to treat it as such. If you're going to make the effort and devote the time & resources, don't sabotage your efforts. Don't mix Adsense with affiliate sales and list-building on the same sites. Commit to your business. Don't sabotage your Adsense sites by diluting them with opt-ins or product pitches. You aren't likely to achieve those $25- $50- or $100/day sites that way. And if you do, you have a site that can do much more if you put all the focus there. Understand that Adsense boils down to a simple equation: traffic x conversions (CTR) x payout (EPC) = earnings. To boost your earnings, you must boost one or more of these factors. Maximize your conversions - and hence earnings - by limiting the choices on the site. For me, treating Adsense as a business includes includes staying on top of changes to the Adsense program and policies, continually learning from the experience of others, etc. Google provides some excellent resources to this end, and I strongly recommend you spend some time with them: Google's Adsense blog: http://adsense.blogspot.com/ Google's Youtube Adsense channel: http://www.youtube.com/insideadsense Adam
I agree with your point about not mixing Adsense with other things - like affiliate products and list building. When I started up, my Adsense income was rising steadily on quite a large number of sites. Then I got greedy and added links to Amazon or CJ or Clickbacnk - and guess what? My Adsense income almost dried up Took a couple of months for me to correct the problem and get back to where I was.
True. If you want to build a site for adsense then do it and add only adsense on it. We'll some people put more links to their site than they need to. Links from CJ, amazon, ebay, adsense, clickbank etc. Well, if you do this on your site, try to look what will happen to your site. It's like an ad monster webpage making no money at all. Most web surfers don't like websites filled with too much ads. It's understandable right? You can really make a good living with google adsense. Google already gives you all the information on how to use google adsense and profit out of it. And if you're really up to it, you can make more than you expect with google adsense.
It's possible to make a living with Adsense but if you're a newbie, it's going to take a lot of time and effort before you'll get there. Always come up with a back up plan and never entirely depend on Adsense. It's only good money for a long-term plan.
hi!!!! I am new to this world. Dont know how to use adsense affectively. Own a blogsite with few blogs but not able to earn money. Please help.
I agree the OP, but i do think that we should nt be dependent much on which we have no control over. Greetz
I agree 100% with the OP.. If you want to make a living out of adsence treat it as a business...and concentrate all your efforts and sites SOLEY on adsence. Then when you are developing your new business strategy, you can decide on which route to go in your adsence business.. 1. Few sites with very high paying keywords OR 2. Many sites with low paying keywords
Yes...but if you choose high paying keyword you need to do lot of work in order to make your site ranked well on search engines....you need to have complete SEO strategies for your website....because...usually high paying keyword got high competition to rank on search engines...
Hey swasts - the trick is to find the high paying keywords that have only moderate competition. Believe it or not, there are hundreds of thousands of them out there, and they are not that hard to find. I can take these sites from $0 - $50-$100/day in about 3-4 months quite easily now. Best, Adam
