Making a living online for myself

I have been working now for about 4 years heavily to make a living online for myself and my family. I've tried many ways to accomplish this, but none have succeeded.

I know that you need to stick with things and do your best, and I honestly do. I make every attempt to get something to work and it never does. I am not the smartest man in the world, but I feel like I have a pretty good business head and want to quit my full-time job and do this full-time.

I have had some times where I did pretty good. I have made as much as $400 in a day, but it's far too inconsistent. I have tried a huge range of websites, and other methods online of making money.

I'm not looking for a get rich quick scheme. I am willing to work 12-14 hours a day if I have to if that's what it takes to be able to be self sufficient online. I am so tired of my full-time job that I am desperate to find something that makes a decent living. I'm not opposed to doing much of anything online to achieve this goal.

I am hoping to hear some ideas on how to legitimately earn $80-$120 American per day online. As I stated before, I am willing to work 12-14 hours to achieve this.

If anyone has ideas on how this can be done that aren't get rich quick schemes, I would absolutely LOVE to hear them.

Thank you very much for your time and input.

    Try affiliate marketing.
    Try an adult site.

Try to create something new and exciting.

If you're really desperate to get a jumpboost in your online income, I think you should buy an existing site that's making decent revenue and try to make it grow from there. While the ROI might be 6-9 months, after that period of time it's profit for you to pocket and you can eventually part ways from your brick and mortar job.

Create your own product. Advertise it in Clickbank.

Create your own product. Add it to your own website. Drive traffic or sell.

Don't give up and keep learning new things each and every day. Possibly find a good mentor that can help you along. Mentors can not only motivate but can help you in ways you hadn't thought of...

Earning $80-120 per day legitimately is probably the goal of over 90% of the people here. If anyone has a winner idea I doubt they're going to tell you. If you've been doing this for 4 years "heavily" then you should already know how to accomplish this. If not, then you might not be cut out for this.

It's not that I don't think that I'm cut out for it. I have a desire and will to do it. I've tried a lot of the methods that I've read and heard about, especially through DP. I think it is a lack of expertise, because I see people making money using the same methods I'm using and I'm not making anything at all. Pocket change at best. I've dumped a lot of money into the stuff I do. I'm WAY in the red at the moment and can't seem to get back into the green.

I didn't expect someone to give me their great money making scheme. I wasn't looking for an easy way out. I'm fully aware that it takes time and effort along with knowledge to make anything happen online. I'm fully dedicated to working a crazy amount of hours to get off the ground and start making something substantial.

I was hoping to hear ideas that I perhaps hadn't thought of. So far I've seen some good suggestions, some that I will look into. I really appreciate the help and criticism because it makes me take a hard look at it and statements like tikkal made only make me more determined to make this work.

It looks like you're a good writer, have you ever considered writing articles for website content? If you are a fast writer, you can make that much. Have you tried associatedcontent.com or dailyarticle.com? In any webmaster forum they will buy your articles as well. You could also offer a service of writing PLUS submitting them to article websites. I am certain you will succeed as long as you keep trying. Good luck to you.:)

I would like to get into more writing. I enjoy writing, but only on certain topics. I'm not the "I need money, will write about anything" type or writer. There are enough of those on DP that I try to just write what I'm passionate about to ensure the quality is at a high level.

I will look more into this, because it seems to be something that a lot of people make money doing.

I'd say build websites that are for the long term and use PPC and affiliates to earn.
