If it was as simple as you make the question seem, everyone would be doing it. It's not impossible, but it does take work. I'm not close that, but I wish I was. On a positive note, it certainly isn't impossible. I would just start by thinking of a website concept. Try not to reinvent the wheel.
I am seriously thinking leaving school to try that, I find it a time waster here, And would like to invest into doing a project that will earn me a living
takes a lot of time and hard work. read round the forum before you take any first steps. there is lots of valuable information on here.
I dont think I would quit school until I was making my goal and even then best bet is to always have an education to fall back on. Lets say your website only needs 3 hour of work a day. You could be working another job at same time and using your extra money to build up the website. That is what many people do and have done to make their pages successful
5-6 Years ago i would have told you quit school and come make money online, but today, stay in school and work on it as part time untill you think you can make more money out of it. The internet today is saturated, too many people doing the same thing, just take a look at this forum, so many ppl trying to make money out of people who try to make money over the net..Crazy
Quitting school is not a smart move if you're still learning about making money online. Start small, learn until you can make decent amount of money, then (and only then) you can decide your future. Why quit school when you can make money online as part timers?
Cadelaf, use the education that you learn in school to further YOUR results in Internet Marketing. The more KNOWLEDGE that you have, the more WISDOM that you can use, to learn internet marketing while taking massive action to achieve the results & lifestyle that you desire bro'! Stick with it, because it WILL pay off in the long-term, which is always a GOOD thing!
Hey Cadelaf, as much as school may seem like a waste right now its not. There are things you can do, we talked before and I see from another thread that you have made a success of what you first thought not possible. Which is great, the difference is you worked at it and you getting a little bit of movement. Keep working at it. It will just take work. I made $101 on Tues. It has taken me 8 months of learning and work to get to that point. But stay in school and do it on the side. Let me illustrate the kind of work it takes. This is a rought illustration as I can't remember the specifics exactly: Back in the early 1900's at a steel factory in the US they did an experiment. They hung a large steel beem from the celining. They also took a string and hung a cork from the celining (lilke you would find in a wine bottle.) Someone then sat on the second floor of the building and took the cook and swung it at the beam. It would hit the beam and bounce off, and they would do it over again. They did this non stop, 24 hours a day for three days. On the third day the steel beam started to vibrate and eventually started to swing back and forth. All from a cork and some constant work. I don't remember where I heard this, but I believe it is true. Point is, not the scientific aspect, but it will take consistent, work over time to build up to what you want. Another example is a farm. Have you ever grown anything personally? Any farmer would tell you that you have to plant the seed, water it, care for it, and you will harvest months after you plant the seed. Any farmer would also laugh at you if you tried to plan the seed 2 days before harvest time and expected to get a crop from it. Make sense? You can't use quick fix. Finish school, and work hard. You can defintely make $60 per day, over time. Learn SEO and you will go far long term as well. As for further explanation try reading or listening to "First Things First" by stephen covey or "The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People" by stephen covey. Also you might read "48 Days to the Work That You Love" by Dan Miller. Anyway, all that said to say. Yes you can do it, but finish school and work hard. Matt
Ok, ok, he got it already. How many others have to say the same thing? Now, can anyone show him how to make the money while still staying in school? Jeez.
Awesome analogy. Don't leave school!! Your website might do good for a month or two and you may decide to leave and BAM, your site loses a lot of traffic, then you're screwed.
It definitely takes time without money. I always suggest something that you can find yourself getting wrapped around if you know what I mean. Pick a topic that once you get rolling you can't sleep until you find the answer or complete the puzzle, whatever. Then pick a domain name on that topic, create 15-20 500+ word pieces of content. Also create a concept page, this will be your reminder as to what you want your site to be. If it ever changes, start at that page first as this will be your goal, and goals get modified from time to time. Then do analysis, find out if your site is getting indexed, visited etc. Find out what pages they are going to. Learn you visitors and why they are coming. If they aren't coming, come back here and keep reading, and swapping links. Some of my sites have taken days, some have taken years, but they have all been directly related to the time I have spent. I am not quite making a living yet (well off of the website revenue alone) but was off of a site selling a product. But trends change and you need the backup. Use school and a job as the foundation and spend the spare time working on your goal. Most of the time in this biz, time is your friend. You can work hard but you don't want to work too fast sometimes. Google will be your friend so time here is not wasted as you eluded to. You dont want to throw up 20 articles and be done or work all nighters for a month to get 100 more up and be done. The search engines want to see slow gradual process. Their algorithms will pick up on the fact that a site is growing at a normalized pace. People will link to your content because they like it and it will start to roll faster from there. Above all have fun..it will show in your content if it doesnt look like you are forcing it!
Ok, Right Now I have my own game server based on a Game And my daily earnings where $10 at beginning.. now today I got $33... And I hope it keeps growing, And I won't leave school, I'll study Computer Engineering and learn to code PHP to later apply it to make a revolution on the internet
That's good progress, hopefully it increases just keep note of the instability when it comes to making money online.
