I'm kind of curious, perhaps someone can tell me if are the owners, mods, etc... of these forums making money? I just wonder how they monetize NP or DP, perhaps I am a bad member since I tend to read and not post much and dont really click on ads. I just wonder if anyone has any insight whats behind NP and DP, like how much staff they have, are mods paid or what is their incentive, are the forums a labor of love or truly a business?

Being Different is the key here. DO something which hasn't been done and offer something which no one is offering. :) I dont think there is any point in making another DP or NP.

    Best wishes.

I'm really amazed at the awesome advice I've been getting. The majority of vote is to make a forum as big as DP & NP because it's different. Something that hasn't been done before.

When I first started, my forum was an empty shell.

Recently, I went public with my domain backorder service. For only $10, you can backorder any LLLL.COM domain from my lists.

My FORUM was the perfect place to provide an area to list today's domains available for backorder. Then people started posting their backorders for each day. Next, there was a need for auction style posts. Long story short, I was able to do all this from my forum. With this being the heart of the forum, the idea is unique and has brought many long term visitors & friends to my forum. Thanks again to all for the solid advice< I really appreciate it!

You can view the lists of LLLL.COM domains offered daily for backorder at this link:

This unique service is going to be what makes my forum unique & will bring visitors returnind daily.
