Making a flutter unit converter

    I have a school assignment for making a simple application - a currency converter. The programming language is flutter.
    The teacher said we are allowed to use guides for existing similar projects since we are new, and I ended up finding a tutorial for a very similar project: https://www.blunix.com/blog/building-your-first-flutter-app-a-step-by-step-guide-to-creating-a-unit-converter.html
    It was a unit converter, so I just changed the physical units to currencies, but my teacher said that it was a poor job, she didn't mention anything about using the tutorial so it's not that.
    Does anyone know what is wrong with the example shown in the tutorial?
