hi i have some good page rank domains(some5 and some6) do you peoples think does it worth to install PHPDL and run a directorY? Do they looooose page rank if i do that? and how much can i sell each link on page rank 6 directory? any experience/help will have a gift thanks
What was on the domains when they were PR6? If you make a directory (or other website) then you will lose some PR the when the next update comes.
They won't lose PR immediately, they may even not lose it at all if you keep getting links. But I doubt you'll have big success selling links, there are too many directories. You'd better try to sell the entire directories.
Its not ethical for you to do this. If you really want to be involved in the directory industry, either build a directory from ground up or if you have plenty of money to burn, buy an existing directory with good listings.
Starting a directory would be a good idea as long as you are ready to work very hard at building it. Don't be surprised if you loose some PR in a couple of months but in the long term, with very hard work, victory is certain.
If you start a directory, I would build up quite a few "high PR / One-way links" (to minimize PR loss starting a directory).
