    yes you will require hosting.
Park your domain to your host.. Your host will provide nameservers.

Well, you can either get your own hosting (paid or free), or you can pay Wordpress.com and they'll manage and host the website for you and manage most of it themselves, but you'll have trouble should you wish to monetize your blog if you host with them.

Make sure you use case sensitive. If the doesn't work-- the password can be sent to the email address.

type in: http://gatorsportsnation.com/wp-admin-- see just below the dialog area.

    Q...

Where have you set your blog up? You have many options:

    1. Wordpress.com allows you to host a blog with them with your own domain name. But they don't allow you to customize many things. You can't even put ads there.
    2. There are some free hosts where you can setup your blog. But usually they have some or the other restriction. Either they put their ads and make your site ugly, or they provide very little space, or they do not allow .htaccess, or some or the other restriction. I won't suggest you to go for a free hosting, if you are serious abut your website.
    3. many paid hosting services are available. But do not pay upfront for a year or so(many host trap you by offering concession for an advance pay ofr an year or two). Try a host with moneyback guaranty even on monthly payment plans. Not many host provide that.

In case you decide to opt for a paid hosting, here's some suggestions regarding choosing a webhost:

I have tried many hosting companies. Every too often it so happens that many not-so-reputed hosting companies come over, give great offers, and then when they are not able to continue they sell their company out to other hosting companies. Infact, that is the motivation behind many hosting companies. Then a lot of troubles ahead for the website owners.

I would suggest you go with a reputed name in the industry. Recently I am hosting my sites at Hostgators. I am very happy with them. If you want to try this host risk free, opt for their "baby plan" and use the coupon code "freemonth" on this link, and you can try them for a month for just $0.01.

Believe me, they are really good.
