Woot .... yeah he has a lot of relations, I to have had similar options, so I passed on my PayPal details and password so that he could send me the money, just in case I also sent him my credit card number with passwords to my online banking - can't wait.

And that right there made my day, this thread and banning has made me p1ss myself laughing.

Thanks peoples for the laugh and giggles.

Compete shows it as getting 30K visitors a month. My experience with compete is that most of their stats can multiplied by x2-3 in order to come up with more realistic figures. That would put it close to or slightly below pedia7's traffic figures.

With a 4% CTR, that would mean the revenue per click would need to average $2.13 per click. Some of the ads on the site pay no more then $1, while others appear to reach $4+. He may get a little more for site targeting.

I'm sure the owner of the site makes a good buck. None of us can be certain that he makes $8,500 a month though.

The site could use a little modernization, but if it is making money I would not change it either.

    Thanks for sharing this pedia7.

I think maybe, just possibly, he's right.

I ran the site through seodigger.com and it ranks for loads of small-medium keywords, and the stuff on the site is probably not what people are really looking for when they search - so it could easily have a 10% CTR.

Just maybe we could all learn somethink from how it looks and how its laid out...

Yeah, a lot of people are bashing the OP without even looking past the first page or spending a minute or two to do a little research. Heck, people can't even find the Adsense on the site!

It's basic design leaves little to be desired, and that's why the CTR may be enhanced. Also, Adsense placement is good with it displaying first and above the information people are looking for. The site launched in 99, so it's age probably helps it a lot in the SERPS.

I know the site makes money. The OP passed some info along as to the monthly revenue and niche. If it were his site making that kind of money, I highly doubt he would post it because DP users are not going to go there and click ads. :p And anyone with the right mindset and common sense could go out and duplicate this niche/method and make some money. That's was the OP's intent IMO.
