That's a great idea. Or well, you would end up doing that eventually.

I can only speak from a personal experience. I started out with 3-4 websites. Today, I'm up at 10. And as of now, I'm going to optimize this as much as possible.

In other words: I won't be creating other websites until all of my 10 are making money, and ranking #1 for their terms.

In your opening post, you're saying that maintatining 100 websites should be reasonably easy. Well, you're wrong. Maintaining 10 websites, for a guy like me, is veeery hard. I can't even imagine owning that many websites!

so what would be the best? to put some CPA offers on your websites and adsense and try to be consistent with few bucks a day, then start building a new site till 50, 100 sites?

Well ask yourself this "What's better, 100 sites earning 50cents a day, or I site earning $40 a day?". Although you're $10 a day less for the 1 site, the upside is - it's just 1 site. That's theoretically a hundred times less work, 100 times less money needed for outsourcing.

    Work smart, not a lot.

Sticking with few is wise, 100 sites can exhaust you, even 10 can. handpick only few. 2-3 max.

I doubt you'll be able to make $1/day for these types of websites. You need 100+ unique visitors/per day to each website to make this amount. 100*100 = 10,000 Unique visitors per day.

Not sure if movieguy has already started to create these 100 websites, but I think what he will find is the $1 per day comes from the sum total of all 100 sites earning about a penny per day (that's been my experience with something similar). It is difficult to setup everything with the intention of waiting for passive income only. You have to get involved, spend a lot of time and care building up the content, then more time spent promoting. Unless you work for free, this type of project for 100 sites will take a while to breakeven and earn a profit.

Ofcourse running that many websites is having to keep tabs on what to update, 100 times, what to edit 100 times, and if you lose an advertiser what to amend 100 times, it would be better outsourcing the whole thing to someone else

100 sites to build from scratch would be difficult , it maybe wise to get a turnkey package for very cheap and building from there.

It is not easy to start and run l00 website at time. Just staring it and not bothering about it is different issue. If you have well planned for 100 website with all research as to topic, keywords, articles ready to put on it etc. then find. But still fill it is a difficult task.

Maybe you should make one and get some actuall traffic to it and see if you really do that 100 times.

I made a few websites optimized for adsense and one is on the second place for about 2000 exact searches per month, one is on the third place for 3600 broad searches and one is on second page.. for now I am having about 400-600 uniques per month but my click through rate is extremely low.. I am thinking about selling those websites because I don't have much time to deal with them..I will try to put them on first spot and then sell them.. what do you say?

I think maintaining that many sites is insane. I run less than 10 and my hands are already full. Try focusing on doing maybe 10-20 and having them earn $5 a day instead.

Def. start with a few sites for now, do some good seo and get those ranking and making money with adsense then rinse and repeat till you have as many sites as you can maintain in a month! Dont start out with 100 and then realize its too much work!

Quality is always better then quantity in this game!
