So, that's the problem.. I've a few sites..which I think, they don't have single digit backlinks..but, they'll rank well on google. I don't waste time on submitting site to hundreds of directories.. it's just time waste. Keep it simple.. update your site atleast twice in three days (with quality content and good title) » Submit the articles to 1 or 2 popular social bookmarking sites like digg, etc » and continue this process a couple of weeks... and you definitely get more than $1/day.
Thanks for your advice. Have started looking at relevant back linking options (not an easy task when you throw in the word 'relevant'). Lets see how it goes and if indeed the traffic, etc. increases.
You can try to develop your site in so many search eninges so people may come to your site daily. Also added latest updated information in your site. You will get benefit after some times sure.
For some people that first $1 is the hardest to get too. If you keep developing your website, in any niche, I can almost guarantee getting atleast $1 a day from it.
the first few dollars are really difficult to make .. one you make few dollars per day its easy to keep up increasing..
You are already making a few cents so you know that making money with adsense is possible I advice you add a visitor tracking software to your site like analytic Then analyze where your traffic is coming from and optimize your site appropriately It really is not impossible to make a dollar a day with adsense when you think about it all you are aiming for is less than 20 cents per website
All this brings me to another question, if websites can make lets say $50/month (which by all standards considering - what everyone is saying is relatively easy to achieve), then multiply that by say 100 sites, would that really equate to US$ 5,000 per month? Assuming the content and everything else that has been cited in this thread is maintained? What would stop someone from multiply that number to a 1,000 websites and earning $50/month for a whopping US$ 50,000 per month?
THAT IS ALOT OF CONTENT BUT YES, that is how the math breaks down . . . then you also have to come up with the 100 domains which i guess if youre buying .info for 1.99 then its not that bad . . . but it all sounds easy, let alone the fact YOU STILL HAVE TO GET THE TRAFFIC TO THE 100 SITES LOL
Being successful with AdSense is not about working hard, but about working smart. You can make much more !
Don't get caught up in building lots of sites; you should spend 70% on SEO 30% on developing and modifying your sites.
why? relaying only on SE to bring you the traffic is naive if you want to make some real money online, long term
I started with a site, then 5-6 months later, did I put adsense on the website. That yielded to about 10/day. In fact I didn't know anything about adsense until that time. I knew about website design and I did the designing part Now I make my sites with adsense in mind, but I still think its better making them User-First, then Adsense. Might not make as much but you will get a lot of visitors and it will yield to the same.
Getting to $1 per day per site via Adsense is not hard, but it requires work and a fair amount of optimization and backlinking. Once you reach $1 per day, you will see that the next hurdle is $2 per day per site. And so on. Just remember what you did to reach your first hurdle, then scale it and your revenue should also scale. It took me about 6 months to surpass the first hurdle, 9 months for the second, and now I'm working on my third hurdle. Just keep plugging away, it is really a time thing.
Well, I think the problem is that you are not focused, as you are trying to run too many sites all at once. If you pare it down to just one or two, and focus all of your time on promoting just that site...I think your results would be much better.
"is it a difficult task to be earning $1/day based on 100-200" You can make 20$ from 200 visits but also it can be impossible. It depends on various things ... where do you put your ads, what's your niche, from where your visitors are coming from, will they find what they are looking for or not... there's really no point asking these questions....
