You are right Philip but there should be an easy way to make decent money with Amazon Associates program. Yes you need traffic and I think PPC traffic is an effective way to get some decent money from Amazon Associates program. I use a very cheap but legit PPC program that will atleast earn 2 times the money I invest. By the way don't go with Google Adwords and its a waste of time. If anyone is interested, write your queries in this thread.

 

Amazon.com and Amazon.uk which one is recommended ?

 

I always preferred Amazon.com for hell lot of obvious reasons.

Why is Amazon best?

 

Amazon has the largest range of products with over 90% unsaturated, you can literally pick something sought after in a partiular niche, promote it and make $$. Consumers go to Google first and type in something they are interested in so you are targeting hungry buyers with credit card in hand.

Everywhere and anywhere. Though majority are from the USA. Amazon UK is the next biggest market.

Yes, this Amazon affiliate program is really good. You can earn some money from this program. In reality, you should understand that you can spend a lot of your personal time. Remember, you must be both patient and active. Thus, if you offer more goods, you will get more money from the commission of Amazon.

We've all but left amazon behind.
Several places on the internet have been attacking our sites, scraping our content, and we've in turn been getting deindexed.
Amazon's affiliate program is DEAD imo.

 

I have been willing to get into affliates from a long time. The links you provided has enlightened me a lot. I guess the keywords resarch also holds importance. Amazon is perhaps the most preffered.. I am working on a project and trying to "build relevant content". Will post more about it, if it succeds.

 

I think the high conversion rate more than makes up for it. Where else could you get an easy 10% conversion rate - even up to 20% at certain times of the year or for certain products? It's actually just as easy (if not easier) to make money with Amazon.

 

I tried amazon affiliate using blogger but google deleted my blog. I thinks it's better to have your own domain and hosting if you are going to promote amazon products.

 

The best way to get around this problem is to create an individual blog for each item, that way when someone visits your website they will only see that product and that includes the main search engines - Don't put all your eggs in one basket!
