This is what scares most people - they think that they'll be doing work with no payoff at the end... and yes, that can happen if you don't know what you're doing. The trick is to find a mentor, or a really good ebook course on how to build an Amazon Affiliate business. Then you know that what you're doing will pay off. It's easier to make money as an Amazon Affiliate, and it's easier to see a solid return... Clickbank affiliates can send a thousand clicks without seeing a sale, but it's downright hard to send 100 clicks to Amazon without a sale. This makes it easier for Amazon Affiliates to see the end goal - and can inspire them to continue to work on their business.
Other affiliate programs do not limit your ability to do so. Amazon cuts off your queries (sales leads) before they can even convert.
If you promote by using blog. You have to do whatever to increase your blog traffic which mean being visited by prospected buyers. To do that, you should write some articles from time to time to making your blog lively. Using content with niche KW. Also leaving your blog signature at any reputation forum. That's all just for ex.
People who visit blogs are visiting the blog. They are not coming there to buy random products. The most successful use of Amazon is to create niche' stores that sell Amazon's products. We did it successfully for years, unfortunately after Amazon started limiting queries, there was no reason to drive $20k/mo. in sales their direction.
I've heard, I've seen, but never have I done it. I have 600+ posts on one site about horror movies, and just never get more than a few bucks every few months. I don't know how anyone can make more than a few bucks.
'it's not what you're doing, it's how you're doing it'....is the saying. I'm presuming you are promoting DVD's off Amazon? Good constructed reviews are merely not enough, it's how you present it to your potential buyer which makes all the difference. I cover this in my tutorial if you are interested.
Haven't received your signup, have you confirmed the email after signing up? Right off the bat IMO your layout of the page is not doing the site many favors. But more importantly, there is no call to action on your affiliate links - placing them within the book name is leaving it half baked. Anyways, my guide explains all this
Yes, Amazon has huge trust factor. And, you can promote all kinds of stuff - from kitchen furniture to video games.
Well, it's not easy, but not too hard. First you have learn on how promote product from any material source like this forum and other places. I myself have bought many books to read and understand them and also read from websites. I have been doing affi. with amazon for 7 months by copy amazon products and paste onto bloggers. So far I earn around $100. I pay nothing for promoting but spend lot of time for conduct my blogger's post. See some of my amazon bloggers as signatures below.
I can tell you what products that are NOT easy to sell: LCD TV's Digitial Camera/camcorders Luxury watches laptops computers cell phones/smartphones See a pattern? high ticket, high demand, lots of competition. If you go into the best sellers section and think of items that you think would sell to a certain market, shortlist and confirm that the products are actually getting searched for (google keyword tool) and get some articles written on about 5 products for your site. See my sig below for my full tutorial
any products can be sold, particularly which they are in the bestsellers list. but the difficulty is how to get lots of traffic hitting your ads. because, some said only 2% of the people seeing ads in website becoming a buyer.
