Make my post permanent.

Hi,
I want one of my post to be fix in the home page permanent.
But in blogs, when I post new article it shows top in the home page.
Can I put any permanent post in my blog in the home page?

all i have to is to just add only few contents in the home page and rest articles will be th same as blogs.
means I want to describe something about my site and that's why i need some content permanent.

If it's a post that you want to always show at the top, on your posts list click "quick edit" and just check the "make this post sticky" box.
