I am thinking of creating a social networking site in the gaming niche, very targeted traffic and members. How much money is possible with a site like this? I anticipate around 10,000 members at the site's max.
It really, REALLY depends on what the site is all about. Gaming is a very general topic. The obvious answer is ads, although I can tell you from experience that ads on gaming websites pay pretty low.
It's a very specific type of site, so I was thinking of running ads that I create that link to my affiliate links to either Amazon, Play-Asia, etc. I think I'll make a decent amount of sales from it, and the profits from affiliate products are great!
