Myspace has a new advertising platform that allows you to target your campaign by age, location, interests, etc. Same with TV shows and movies. They all appeal mainly to a certain demographic based on the content of the TV show. How about finding links to movies and TV shows, and posting banners for them on Myspace? How about using our premium content Gateway to force the user to complete a survey before they watch the video and you get around $1 for each survey? I have tried a similar method using Google Adwords and it has worked wonders, however we are a network, we benefit from a group of people doing this method versus just one of us. That's unfortunate. I was able to eventually profit 38% consistently with Google Adsense and Adsense doesn't even allow anyone to target Age or Gender. You might lose out a few times before you get it right - anyone who does PPC has all experienced loss before the gain when they try something new. Also, things have changed in our network recently. We are now converting around 2x better this week than last week with our new efforts in survey/offer quality.
Yeah. I think with SEM you cant geo target? Or atleast im too noob to Can i ask. DO you send straight to a landing page or do you send them to ther homepage. And then they get funneled to a landing page.
If you can't GEO target, then you WILL have TERRIBLE luck with this method Refer to the demo in my signature. The campaign I ran was of similar structure to the demo page - however the one in the demo is just that - a demo.
Our surveys require users/viewers to answer questions. Users are not required to purchase anything for the survey to pay you and reveal your content to your user - that is the best part about it.
I'm using a similar method, getting leads from social networks brings me in a 5 figure volume a month, not all profit, but this is HIGHLY profitable.
Good method but their bids on movies are huge. minimum of 0.25$, I don't think it will convert. Just set up a campagne for 50$ , with a bid of 0.30$ per click witch means I will send 167 clicks to my cpalead page. If I do the math correctly this will result in around 16 conversions average of 0.50$ witch means less than 10$. I might not be right though. If anyone tries this please do post.
