Make Money From Toolbars???

Can soemone explain to me how you make money from people downloading a toolbar?

For example.. webfetti.com pays affiliates to promote there toolbar.. after one person downloads it you make a buck.. so how do they make money from getting people to install a toolbar...

Can someone please explain this... and what exactly would be on the toolbar?

they show popups and ads when people download their toolbars..

Im sorry... toolbars are so new to me.. Can you explain a little bit more in detail?

So if we use webfetti.com for an example.. Someone would download there toolbar. And then when the user has it installed ads that webfetti is promoting would show up and when they click on it they get paid?

Thats what I am trying to find out... Obviously your visitors would download the toolbar but im trying to find out how you monitize after that...

Is it just from them clicking on the ads that the toolbar would generate... there has got to be more to it than that. and I would get pretty annoyed if it constantly had pop ups going on..

Some explain if in detail if they understand this..

I'd hate to see you go down that road. Most people consider these toolbars to be badware. If you're looking for short-term income, I guess that's one way to do it, but if you'd like to go long-term, I'd suggest looking elsewhere. The last thing you want to do is get an important site labeled as a source of badware.
