thanks tomhatter. yeah. when i first started the blog, i liked seeing income reports of small and medium blogs. so i wanted to do that with my blog as well. i think it's great for noobs. it shows them that it is real. making money online is possible. so long as you work at it and keep growing your site.

wow bloggernoob that is amazing all that income from just that one blog SO if that site was completely new and started from stratch how did you promote it? Just the normal practice of seo and submission processes, DP, bit of link building/swapping etc. OR Did you rely more on people coming to you to make use of your service and reading your quality posts, maybe bit of word of mouth too?

well, it wasn't easy in the beginning, i had to do a lot of grunt work. i participated in forums like DP, and i joined a lot of web networking sites. like blogcatalog, mybloglog, entrecard. i built up my links. i studied up on seo. and i just kep posting. if you check my archives, you'll notice that i was busy writing a lot of content. i think my blogs stats are pretty good, only thing i'm missing is PR, but what can i do, i do a lot of paid posting. it's ok tho, cause i get paid a lot with paid posting.

How much are your expenses per month (blog related) if you don't mind sharing? I'm just trying to get a feel for some expenses I will need to dish out after I get a domain name and stuff. Thanks
