Make Money at Home Blog with 60+ WP Plugins and 244 RSS Subscribers

Wordpress blog about making money at home. I bought this a while back and was planning to use it for myself since I liked the domain name and niche. It has sat on my server ever since so I figured I'd let it go cheap and hope that I can someday see it evolve since it already has a couple of hundred RSS subscribers.

Adsense is on the site, but since I just uncovered this site on one of my servers, I had just switched out the Adsense ID. So assume no revenue or traffic. I feel that this would make a great starter blog for someone who would like to skip the setup and simply start blogging. Although Wordpress plugins are free, it's another thing to find them, upload them, activate them, and set them up. So the value here is the time saved from having to do all of this.

I do not believe the content is unique, but this blog's success will depend on what you add to it, not what is already there. Although, the existing content is pretty good.

    Starting Bid: $25
    Increments: $5
    BIN: $75
Ends: 72 hours from this thread's timestamp, BIN is met, or when bidding slows down and I choose to sell early.

I'll allow one week for the new owner to move the site. Payment by Paypal.

Lets say that I like the reason you pulled out for the assume no revenue no traffic ;) I would say the sites gets roughly 3-5 uniques a day.

Anyway, i am not sure how the heck this blog has managed 200+ RSS subscribers while the domain (according to my guess) has way much less traffic.

Anyway here is my $25 bid.

Lets say I wanted to keep the hosting, how much would cost me monthly ?

ramiz123 - As I stated, assume no revenue or traffic. But if you absolutely have to know, this month there were 38 unique visitors and 46 visits. I switched servers at the beginning of the month, so I don't have anything to show for last month.

Cboyce, what exactly do you mean? What does "238 readers by Feedburner" mean then? When you click on it, it goes to Feedburner and has nothing to do with web2theme.com. As far as I know, web2theme.com is where the template may have been acquired, but I'm not sure how this has anything to do with "readers".

What he means is that if you right click on the feedburner image and select show image you get this URL feeds.feedburner.com/~fc/web2themes?bg=eaeef0&fg=85979d&anim=0

So go fool people on another forum.

Exactly, and this is the same image being used by web2themes.com - ie same subscribers.

Im not trying to down your thread just point out that the subscriber count is fake for your particular website.

Okay, well thank you for bringing this to my attention. I purchased this site, moved it over to my server, did not thing else to it, and decided to sell it for what I see on the surface. Jeez, Trapped, so quick to jump to conclusions that people are always out to scam. It was an honest mistake and I withdraw that portion from the title of this auction, but unfortunately I cannot edit my original post.

Live and learn, but anyone could have made this mistake. Scamming people on this forum, and especially this forum, is the last thing I want to do. I wouldn't be asking people to explain things to me if what you guys pointed out was obvious to me. So lesson learned, I apologize, now bid on what's left of the blog as I'm sure most of you will agree that there is some, even if it's little, value to it. If you're not interested, then move on. No use accusing people without them having a chance to explain themselves.

It was probably the person who sold you the site that got you scammed.

Personally, and it's only my opinion, for the price he sold it to me for and how much I am selling it here, I don't necessarily feel scammed. He/she never did advertise the the "feedburner" part in their auction. I did so in mine because it's what I saw. When I bought it all I cared about was the design, content, and the niche it was in. I knew then, and have disclosed now, that traffic and revenue is nil and although I did advertise the subscribers as a "perk", I still believe that this is a good starter blog.

Really people, you guys are making a bigger deal out of this than it needs to be. Now that it is out in the open, then re-adjust your valuations for what is left of the blog after taking away the Feedburner numbers. I don't know why we have to keep pounding this into the ground. For a starting bid of just $25 with no reserve, I have no time to go right clicking on every little graphic to figure out if it is "fake", "stolen", or what not. I realize that some of you may have wanted there to be value in the Feedburner subscribers, but now that you know there isn't, let's drop it already. I already owned up for overlooking it, what else do you want to happen here?

It is not a question of a quick conclusion. You might as well be scammed, but that goes on chain since we felt an attempt of scam.

Apologies that we can't enter in your brain and see if you have some hidden thoughts or not, but we said only what it appeared to us.

    Sorry that you got scammed.

And what I "said" in my auction ad was merely a description of what "appeared" to me was on the site. I agree with you, you don't know what I'm thinking, but that goes both ways. Instead of giving me the benefit of the doubt, and maybe even PM'ing me to ask if it was intentional or not, you went out in a public forum and accused me of attempting to "fool" people. So let's not be hypocritical here. I could have came back at you and accused you of sabotaging my thread, but I don't because instead I choose to give you the benefit of the doubt that you are merely trying to warn people here...

Look at my iTrader feedback. I've bought sites here in the price range of up $6,000. If this auction ended and the new buyer brought this issue to my attention at a later date, I would have happily refunded him/her in full plus let them keep the blog.

FYI: DP member put in a BIN offer through PM. I declined and referred him back to this thread to re-think his decision. He read everything over, understands the issue, and will let me know how he wants to proceeed.
