Sure doesn't describe me. With the same logic, I guess anyone who can not have a logical and truthful thought in this forum is a Huck fan
First case: http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=455865&page=2 Post number 31, agreeing by suggesting it's not out of proportion. See above. You first defended it, then went into the mysterious, yet still unnamed ghostwriter mode. Knowing full well, that RP and his campaign manager have actually defended and justified his racist comments. Incorrect. I've seen no posting by you, where RP has rebutted himself. The issue at hand is, either he was lying then, or lying now. I wonder what would happen if we polled stormfront, on which of the two he might have been lying about? Incorrect. You have proven time and again, that when you do not want to address tough questions, you dismiss them as ad hominem and strawmen. This is a very observant patten that anyone can point out. If fact, it's quite noticeable, even in this response. Since you are deflecting the question, I'll repeat it and see if you will hide from it again: If you want to assert 2001 is correct, then you have to accept 1996 was a lie. Either way, his integrity is in question. It sure does explain why neonazis and white supremacists are flocking to his campaign though. It's not just one or two things, it's a whole series of issues surrounding racism, antisemitism, nenazis, etc. Way, way, way too main "coincidences" for any candidate. This would probably be the dishonesty that gauharjk was mistakenly referring to. At no time have I suggested this. To make this point, I will give anyone here $50 via paypal to post where I said this. I will give $75 to the first ron paul supporter who will honestly stand up against guerilla's dishonesty on this point, and say he was wrong. Incorrect. I challenge you to prove otherwise. Your usual tactics are to claim something is debunked, when in fact it has not been. Care to source where I said "so many?" You really need to start paying attention. Probably just another ploy to avoid addressing a tough issue. There are many ties that bring RP and racism together. They are not just one or two, but many. I've covered them. You've pretended they don't exist, or suggest they have been debunked, when in fact, they have not. Ron Paul would undo the end to slavery, if he could go back, and hope that somehow, some year, it might undo itself. Just another, in a long list, of ties to racism. No, he will not get a bump, unless you are talking about the KKK and white supremacist organizations of the South. We can agree on that. ad hominem. More slander on your part. I cover these issues quite well. I do so with well sourced facts, when you offer nothing but contempt and hatred for your country. Thank you, I appreciate your permission to call it spamming. Basically, you're STILL where Huckabee was, a year ago. From 5% national support to 3%. I have no worries here. The only regret I have, is that RP didn't get the chance to melt down like Howard Dean. At least Howard has some real support and actually won something. He rose to the top, before he melted down. RP won't even melt down. Just fade away. Desperation on your part. You know I am right on this. Why, just today, you were caught again, defending and supporting the largest state sponsor of terror. Oh, you have plenty of kind words for them, but never a kind word for you country. It's not name calling, Guerila, it's pointed and accurate observations. Why do you think you keep getting called on it? Look, if you want others (that are not Ron Paul supporters, who will give you a courtesy pass everytime) to stop believing these things about you, then stop doing them. No one is holding your hand and asking you to defend terrorists, defend terrorist states, and talk nice about them. You do that, of your own free will. It's that freedom you have, that you always elude to as being eroded, but can never figure out what freedoms you've actually lost. More dishonesty on your part. It's remarkable that you can willfully be so dishonest. I guess, because you are ron paul supporter, you "friends" won't hold you to a higher standard. I'm always flattered that I'm held to a higher standard than you are. I take it as form of respect First, I was not involved, nor was I online, nor did I participate in the thread you are referring to, that caused a certain group of people to do what they do best. That is slander on your part. I didn't find about the whole thing, until the following day. I challenge you to go back to the thread and prove me wrong. Second, I'm critical of islam in the same way you are constantly critical of your country. But much less. I rarely participate in the propaganda threads where infidels defend brutal murders and killings. The last one I did, sure made people take a second look, when I used verses from the quran, but changed the words (infidel, non-believer, christians and Jews) around to "muslims." Oh, there was plenty of initial outrage, until things were put back into perspective, then suddenly it was just one way outrage. The hypocrisy, as usual, was simply unbelievable. You must be proud of yourself. Unfortunately, your dishonesty does not own me. You may get a pass from it, because your "supporters" here (from my personal observation) have no more integrity than you do. I simply do not have the time like I used to. I won't apologize for that. No, I'm just not buying into the dishonesty. Translation: Another tough observation that guerila doesn't want to address. Once again: It still doesn't excuse the racist newsletter RP wrote. Nor does it excuse your defense of it. More dishonesty by guerilla. I have sourced this for you and fletch before, but neither of you would accept it, because it burst your bubbles: http://www.usatoday.com/news/politics/election2008/2007-09-13-military-donors_N.htm I'm simply stunned at the level the dishonest has stooped to here. Not only did Obama bring in more military donations, but I've also presented information that clearly dismisses the notion about Ron Paul. If you honestly believe 90 (not even, because there's no way to verify, as the source clearly shows) military members, out of 2.2 million is something to jump up and down about, or is some fantastical accomplishment, you have more problems than I ever accounted for. You should be ashamed of being so dishonest on this issues, and being so greedy for your candidate, that you would deny the real leader in this area any credit. Wrong. Ron Paul has no health care program. What little there is, is selfish, and is a slap in the face by someone who is a doctor. Creating needs, based upon your candidate's weak accomplishments doesn't fool anyone. Anyone could do the same. I want a leader, someone with actual experience, someone who has actually led, someone who has been tasked with responsibility, and most importantly, someone who actually can get something accomplished. That is not Ron Paul. It is Mike Huckabee. Ron Paul does not work well with others. It's "his way or the highway" as so many of his failed voting opportunities that could have made a difference, have illustrated. His views are wreckless, have no thought behind them, would crumble this country to pieces and would receive no support in Congress. But then what's the point, as he can't do much better than 3% nationally anyway. As you can see, real Americans are not interested in going back to the stone ages. Incorrect. He's had very, very little media coverage, outside of the "money bombs," and how pathetic his supporters are. His racist view on the Civil War, was rather astounding, considering it was just one more notch in the "wtf, is this guy really hate blacks that much, to want to go back and undo the end of slavery?" The polls say otherwise. They show my candidate leading nationally, your candidate coming in dead last at 3%, and you are preaching to me about positivity about your candidate? Heh! If only you were so positive about your country. If only you could say nice things about America, as you do those countries that intentionally provoke hostility towards us. Wouldn't that be special? I see it as pretty pathetic. I'd love to see your spin, like this, on America some day. I would be SO amazed if you ever did it. The reality is, that all that fund raising, all those money bombs, all that campaigning effort, all the illegal activities like diverting money to the blimp campaign and all the spamming of online polls, and all the obnoxious young angry males spamming up the internet and virtually every forum with "Go Ron Paul!", and all he has to show for it is 3% national polling, a fifth place in Iowa, a possible (if he's lucky) fifth place in NH, and trailing everyone in virtually every poll I've seen. My oh my! All that money, all that fuss. Looks like those online polls were truly spammed, because real results and real polls are painting quite a different story. And for all that money raised too. You just don't get it guerilla, it's not about the money raised. Romney learned this the hard way, RP and his campaign are learning it the hard way too. It's the message, and RP's extremist messages and blatant "blame America first" rhetoric is not popular amongst real Americans. You don't win a campaign by ceaselessly attacking your own country and blaming it for the world's problems. You don't win a campaign by offering that your solution to every problem is to just dismantle the organization. Third won't happen. I'd be very surprised at fourth. As others on the RP forums are pointing out, there are real problems in your campaign and how it's being managed. The people over there are pissed and probably should be. After spending all that money, using stolen credit cards (yeah, I read about that one too!) to raise all that money, and the campaign can't seem to get anything done. Slow on getting phones. I've read it all, I go over there. And btw, honestly, I do not taunt RP supporters over there. I said that out of spite and to stir you up. I do have an account there, it was approved, but I have not used it. It is tempting sometimes, but if you don't tow the line over there, half a dozen hard core supporters will start posting you are a troll. If you would like, I'll even give you the account name I have, and the email address it's registered to, so you can verify and terminate it. gauharjk, you know, normally I might counter this nonsense, but to be honest, I don't know who you are (I believe you are an islamist, if I recall) and don't particularly care what you have to say. If you believe I have been dishonest, step up like a real man, instead of hiding around the corner to smite my neck unexpectedly, and raise what you believe I have been dishonest about, and prove otherwise. Fair enough? You must be thinking of RP, when during a debate, made a fool of himself by saying that we cannot go to war without a declaration. I remember when he said that, and I challenged any RP supporter to find in the Constitution otherwise. Remember? All of you guys were deflecting, trying to change the subject, attacking me, but no one (even after I offered money, IIRC) could back up RP's words. And yet, he's supposed to be running on the Constitution. That was absolutely hilarious to watch. About the time grim started supporting RP, before he wasn't supporting RP. You have also admitted you needed to hide behind the Constitution. Remember? That was back when you were absolutely relentless about attacking and tearing down your country every day, without fail. Kind words for Iran, but never a kind word for America. Again, actions speak louder than words. Anyone can say anything, when backed into a corner. If a person really believed it, they wouldn't have to wait until backed into a corner, before saying it. Food for thought. I doubt your mileage will vary though. Incredible! Nearly two hours I've spent, correcting the dishonesty of guerilla, and I go to post, and it says text I have entered is too long. That's a first. So, I'll break my response to guerila's dishonest comments up into two posts.
Here's part two, the rest of my response to guerilla's dishonest comments: Once again, if it's something one doesn't want to deal with, just call it ad hominem. Since I will no longer allow you to take the easy way out, I'll repost it: Ah, I forget that if it's any other candidate, it's called "facts," but if something is exposed about RP, it's called "slander" or a "smear." However, it is a legitimate issue. One that was never addressed. In fact, most issues, RP never really addresses. He hides behind his supporters and let's them try to figure out what is, and what isn't true, then watches them do his dirty work for him. This is factually incorrect again. The leader of a prominent white nationalist group exposed Ron Paul. A very select few, rejected it, but many, were flat out pissed off at him for exposing Ron Paul. In fact, some suggested banning him for "breaking the no outing rule." Believe me, I read virtually everything there. I found it ironic, that most, were RP supporters too. What were the odds? The NYT "blog" did not vet the story. In other words, did not investigate it. They simply retracted THEIR story, because it was fed from the posting there. At some point in the future, they may actually decide to investigate it and look further into the manner. This is factually incorrect as well. It has not been refuted. Simply saying it is, and being dishonest about it, is not refuting it. Of course, you are ron paul supporter, so you are not held to a high standard of honesty. Goes without saying. The top tier is three. Second tier is three. At best, RP might be at the bottom of the second tier. RP will not finish fourth. He will be lucky to finish 5th. As was with last times outrageous predictions by RP supporters, we can surely come back and revisit THIS prediction tomorrow. Jerry Falwell is dead. His son, Jerry Falwell, Jr. is supporting him. Anti-semite Pat Buchanan is supporting RP, whether he's given an official endorsement or not. No surprise there, couldn't be by accident David Duke is supporting Ron Paul. He knows the deal. 'Nuff said. My apologies, that was rude of me. I was not aware that I had inconvenienced you by making you wait for something. I do hope you will forgive my manners. Do I believe what you said? No, not at all. However, I do think anyone should be aware of his racist ties and his racist newsletter that he and his campaign manager defended in 1996. I believe it would be unfair to anyone, considering RP as a candidate, to have this information covered up by those who would rather they didn't know about his "colorful" side. After that, if they choose to support him, they surely have my blessing. Perhaps this explains the recent drop, from 5% national polling, to 3%? I expect no credibility to be afforded, from those who tear down my country on a daily basis. I expect no credibility from those who lie, knowing "some" wmd were found and that I have refuted and sourced such, time and again, but would still use such to tear his country down. I expect no respect from someone who would start a post, blaming his country for something, that was primarily done by Europeans. I can dig that post up too Again, with the dishonesty regarding the DDoS. I was not here, I did not participated in the event, nor was I online or around the day that happened. But you would use dishonesty to malign me with such, and excuse the behavior of those doing such a cowardly attack, because you support what they do. And gauharjk has the nerve to question my credibility, but I bet he won't say a peep on this. This would note your conspiracy tendencies. Neither I, nor you, no for sure what happened. What I do know is, I took some verses and turned the intended recipient around to the offending religion, and suddenly you and others were outraged. That is, until I posted the verses and changed the intended subject of those verses back around. Then suddenly there was no more outrage. It was perfectly acceptable. It went from "how outrageous" to "it was taken out of context." The hypocrisy was very illuminating. I should expect more from you, guerila, but I've come not to anymore. That's really a shame too.
I'll let Guerilla respond to most of your stuff, but I wanted to point out two things. I'm not going to open the argument up about Obama and Paul again, sources go back and forth on who had more donations, and I'll happily concede 2nd place and 1st among Republicans just for the sake of sanity and civility. But do look up fund-raising numbers for Q3. Paul doubled his fund-raising total to about $40000, and that time around, Obama didn't come close. Secondly, you are very off about the South, and off about the reasons Paul believes what he did. England, along with most other modern nations, figured out how to end slavery without killing half a million of its own citizens. It used economic factors to combat the problem, not guns. It worked. Also, I live in the South, and even though I don't love it here, I know it pretty well. Being against the Civil War will resound well with people down here. It's a big friggin' deal, and not just among the guys with the white hoods.
GTech, not only did you admit I was prepared for your attack in your source link, a couple posts later, I refuted the basis of your last two posts. Again, you can post as many Ad hominem attacks possible, and create straw man arguments, but at the end of the day, you're wrong, and wrong is wrong. An Anti-Semite wouldn't have a campaign manager who was Jewish, nor belong to a Institute based on a Jew's economic system, or attend the funeral of a Jew who was his economic advisor. But Dr. Paul has, does, and did. And on the subject of being a racist, perhaps you have never heard Dr. Paul speak about the great abolitionist Lysander Spooner, Mahatma Gandhi, or Dr. Martin Luther King. Perhaps you're not aware that his web campaign manager is Asian. White Supremacists generally hate gays, and yet Ron Paul has the largest slate of gay delegates in the history of Washington DC. So sadly, you're ties to blog comments, forum posts, which have been debunked (because the dates of the allegations don't match the facts), fall on deaf ears. But I promise to leave you with a remark you will likely find unsatisfying, and that is this, Ron Paul. Peace, Prosperity and Justice. Have a wonderful evening.
It's actually very simple. You are either a socialist or you are not. All of the current Republican and Democrat candidates are socialists except for Ron Paul. If you would like more Socialism vote for anyone except Ron Paul. If you believe in personal liberty and responsibility vote for Ron Paul.
