How could I make this webpage seem more friendly for viewers? I want the text to be made better and more clearer to read:

    http://www.pokeproject.net/

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks,
    BlueEew.

You need more contrast in the background and text colors. Try making the background (grey) a bit lighter, while making the text darker. As for the sidebar, try making the background darker, as the text is already white.

colors like #EEEEEE to about #DDDDDD are alright for background colors. I don't usually prefer to use greys without ahint of another color as a background. Something that I do on my site, is to find a good grey value, then jsut move the color selector over to the right (in Photoshop), until I have a good hue for the grey. A light grey with hue that I use is #d0e8e7. It turns out to be a very light green. Try and mess around in Photoshop (if you have it), or Gimp and see what pleases you.
